Smoking GirlHonolulu … Wendy Robin, a Hollywood celebrity makeup artist is the creator of Studio W of Honolulu and Stargirl Cosmetics. With over 20 years extensive experience in a full range of makeup techniques, she now shares her talents with all women.

Trained at the renowned Sunset Gower Studio Makeup Academy in Hollywood, Wendy began her career as a makeup artist for print photographers in Paris. Since then, she has worked with numerous A-list celebrities in the film, television, and modeling industries, serving as makeup department head and key makeup artist on film and TV projects.

Matt DamonWendy’s experience includes numerous movie and television credits. Matthew McConaugheyWendy’s expertise in the field of airbrush makeup led her to become the original department head of makeup (from the pilot episode through the first two seasons) of “The Bernie Mac Show”, one of the first sitcoms to be filmed entirely in hi-def. She was the personal makeup artist for Bernie Mac, Kellita Smith, and a veritable who’s who of guest stars.

Jack BlackAs a member of local union 706 in Los Angeles, The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, and an affiliate member of 720 in Las Vegas, Wendy continues to be hired for productions filming in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, she also acts as a creative consultant for productions in development. She is considered a significant asset to any production team because of her diverse experience, training and talent.

Wendy says, “Using my experience as a template, I decided to create a line of beauty products. That’s how Stargirl Cosmetics was born. And, since I feel a special spiritual connection to Hawaii, it only made sense for me to use my talents in paradise – on the beautiful island of Oahu.”
